Set Up Rentify the Right Way
Rentify is structured around a simple chain: Owner → Property → Rent Unit → Tenant → Billing. Once you understand that flow, the rest of the app becomes much easier to use.

Intro Screens and First Launch
The first intro screen explains what the app does: property management, rent tracking, billing, reminders, reports, backups, and maintenance management.
You can set a name and title during onboarding. By default, the title starts as Property Manager. If you later sign in with Google, the app may use the Google account name for display where supported.
After intro, changing some profile identity fields may require Premium depending on the feature path.
Rentify encourages you to add your first property during onboarding. If you skip this step and still have zero properties later, the app can show a prompt on Home to help you get started.
Recommended sequence:
- Add an owner
- Add a property under that owner
- Add rent units inside the property
- Add a tenant
- Assign the tenant to a rent unit
Profile Basics
The Profile page lets you manage your visible manager identity, display picture, and account-related actions. If you are using a local account, your custom name/title and local DP are used. If you are signed in through Google, Google account information may be used in some places.
Google sign-in is mainly useful for connected services such as Google Drive backup and purchase identity continuity. If you are not signed in with Google, local account behavior remains available.
